Peer-review evaluations, facility equipment reviews and rigorous assessments have resulted in recent accreditations from the American College of Radiology (ACR) for the Methodist Imaging Department at Methodist Hospital, Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital and Methodist Physicians Clinic.

Methodist Jennie Edmundson Breast Center was reaccredited for stereotactic breast biopsy, which is the use of mammography to help pinpoint the spot in the breast that needs to be removed.
Methodist Physicians Clinic Medical Office Building at 192 & Dodge has been reaccredited by the American College of Radiology for its ongoing high practice standards.
Methodist Hospital CT was granted the designation of a American College of Radiology Lung Cancer Screening Center. The voluntary designation recognizes facilities that have committed to practice safe, effective diagnostic care for individuals at the highest risk for lung cancer. In order to receive this elite distinction, a facility must be accredited by the ACR in computed tomography in the chest module, as well as undergo a rigorous assessment of its lung cancer screening protocol and infrastructure.
