Nebraska Methodist College to Host Summer Healthcare Career Camp for High Schoolers
Nebraska Methodist College - The Josie Harper Campus, an affiliate of Methodist Health System, will host a healthcare career camp for high school students on July 16-20.
For the students, the camp experience will include living on campus in the Josie's Village dorm apartments, participating in college courses and learning basic skills in many of Nebraska Methodist College's degree programs.
The camp is designed for high school students with a passion for healthcare, with preference given to high school juniors and seniors. Students will "move in" on July 16 and remain on campus until July 20.
All meals, lodging and activities are included in the $350 price. Students will gain hands-on experience, the opportunity to earn CPR certification and be able to interact with current students, faculty and staff.
In addition, on "move out" day, parents will have the opportunity to meet with Nebraska Methodist College staff from the administration, admissions and financial aid departments.
