Methodist Health System Is a Proud Sponsor of the 2021 Heartland Pride Parade and Festival
Methodist Health System is excited to join Nebraska Methodist College, a multiyear sponsor of Heartland Pride, in supporting the LGBTQ+ community. There are multiple ways to participate if you’re interested. Please see details below and watch for more information as the July 10 event approaches.
All Methodist Health System employees and their families are welcome to walk in the parade behind our Meaning of Care banner. More details on how to join the parade crew will be available as the event nears. If you plan on joining, mark your calendar for the morning of July 10, and check out the parade map here.
The Heartland Pride Festival will be held at Baxter Arena in Omaha. Click here to purchase tickets.
Outdoor activities begin at noon, with arena doors opening at 1 p.m. Live entertainment begins at 4 p.m. Methodist Health System and Nebraska Methodist College will have tables set up in the concourse. Stop by and say hello!
A special T-shirt has been created in celebration of this event and is available for anyone to purchase, even if you’re not able to attend the parade and/or festival. If you plan to join for the in-person events, we would love to see you donning the MHS pride shirt, but it’s absolutely not required – come as you are!
To order a T-shirt, click here. T-shirt orders end on June 23.
T-shirts will be delivered to the 825 Building, and employees are responsible for pickup. Pickup dates and times will be provided as the event nears.
