Methodist Marketing Department Wins 22 National Awards

The Methodist Health System (MHS) Marketing Department was recently honored with 22 awards in two national competitions: the Aster Awards for excellence in health care advertising and the Healthcare Marketing Report’s Healthcare Advertising Awards.

Methodist Magazine Wins National Honors

The Aster Awards and Healthcare Marketing Report each honored the winter 2020 issue of The Meaning of Care Magazine, which focused on COVID-19 response. The magazine earned a bronze award from the Aster Awards while garnering merit distinction from the Healthcare Marketing Report.

The magazine is written, designed, photographed and produced in-house by the MHS Marketing Department. 

The Meaning of Care Magazine is available at our affiliate sites and mailed to over 50,000 consumers in targeted ZIP codes, with circulation and demographics matched to each issue's content. Recipients include many of Methodist’s patients, clients, physicians and donors to our foundations as well as members of the media, who often pick up and expand on the stories.

The other MHS advertising and marketing projects honored by these national award programs reflect the ongoing successful collaboration between MHS Marketing and Anderson Partners Advertising.

Anderson Partners, an Omaha advertising agency, has represented Methodist for more than 20 years. The agency works collaboratively with the Marketing team to develop advertising campaigns and other promotional collateral.  

Methodist Earns Health Care Advertising and Marketing Honors

“The All Together” campaign was launched in 2020 and included television, radio, magazine, newspaper, digital and outdoor billboard components.

Methodist’s advertising and marketing collateral were judged against some of the best in the country in health care advertising. Ultimately, the "All Together" campaign (example below) was recognized with three gold and three silver Aster Awards, as well as one gold, three silver, three bronze and five merit awards from the Healthcare Marketing Report.

The Healthcare Marketing Report also honored MHS with a gold award for its urgent care digital campaign and a silver award for its "First Step" campaign.
