Reminder: Replace All Webex Meetings With Teams by April 23
Methodist Information Technology (IT) has successfully deployed Microsoft Teams to all current Webex hosts as well as all the dedicated workstations that can support Teams. If you still haven’t gotten Teams installed on your workstation, please contact the IT Operations Center at (402) 354-2280 for assistance.
Please Replace All Webex Meetings With Teams by April 23
Methodist’s contract with Webex will expire on Friday, April 23. After that date, any Webex meeting you have scheduled will NOT open. Please review all of your meetings in the future that have a Webex meeting included and replace it with Teams by April 23.
All Safety Huddle bridges will be rescheduled into Teams in April as well, and the new information will be sent out for them shortly.
All Webex Hosts Will Automatically Get a Phone Bridge
If you were a Webex host in the past, you had a phone number automatically attached to your meeting. When you schedule a Teams meeting now, a phone number will be automatically attached as well. If you were not a Webex host or want a phone bridge attached to your meetings, please contact the IT Operations Center at (402) 354-2280.
Please Complete Your NetLearning Course
If you haven’t already done so, be sure to log into NetLearning and complete both the Meeting and Chat courses for Microsoft Teams. Your supervisors will begin to receive notices if you have not completed them.
