Methodist Marketing Department Wins 20 National Awards
The Methodist Health System (MHS) Marketing Department was recently honored with 20 awards in three national competitions: the Aster Awards for excellence in health care advertising, Healthcare Marketing Report’s Healthcare Advertising Awards and the Hospital Marketing National-Midwest Advertising Awards.
Methodist Publication Wins National Honors
The Aster Awards and Healthcare Marketing Report each honored The Meaning of Care Magazine with Gold awards.
The magazine is written, designed, photographed and produced in-house by the MHS Marketing Department.
The Meaning of Care Magazine is available at our affiliate sites and mailed to over 50,000 consumers in targeted ZIP codes, with circulation and demographics matched to each issue's content. Recipients include many of Methodist’s patients, clients, physicians and donors to our foundations as well as members of the media, who often pick up and expand on the stories. The magazine is available online at bestcare.org/tmoc.
The other MHS advertising and marketing projects honored by these national award programs reflect the ongoing successful collaboration between MHS Marketing and Anderson Partners Advertising.
Methodist Earns Health Care Advertising and Marketing Honors
“The Commitment Behind the Badge” campaign was launched in 2018. It was extended in 2019 and updated to include Methodist Fremont Health providers and signage.
This campaign, along with the 2019 More Than Pink Walk campaign, The Meaning of Care magazine, Barnefit VIP Fundraising event collateral and the SANE/SART Twitter Chat Campaign, was submitted to three advertising and marketing award shows.
Anderson Partners, an Omaha advertising agency, has represented Methodist for more than 20 years. The agency works collaboratively with the Marketing team to develop the advertising campaign and other promotional collateral.
Methodist’s advertising and marketing collateral were judged against some of the best in the country in health care advertising.
Methodist received 20 awards for its 2019 campaigns: eight awards in the 2019 Aster Awards, 11 awards in the 2019 Healthcare Advertising Awards by Healthcare Marketing Report and one in the Hospital Marketing National-Midwest Advertising Awards.
