Updates to American Heart Association Classes
Please note these changes to American Heart Association/BLS classes at Nebraska Methodist College:
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Courses
Starting Nov. 1, the PALS initial course offered through Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development Division will be two days, instead of one. This is an AHA requirement and a mandatory update. Click here for more details.
Adult Family and Friends CPR
A special Adult Family and Friends CPR class has been added. This class will focus on Adult hands-only CPR, Adult CPR with breaths, Adult AED use and mild and severe airway block for adults. Learn CPR skills in a classroom setting with the American Heart Association’s curriculum. Each student will receive a book to take home which includes what was discussed during the class. This course doesn’t provide a completion card. Click here for more details.
