Heidi Wilke SANE/SART Survivor Program
Care for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking is available at the emergency departments at both Methodist Hospital and Methodist Women’s Hospital throughout the Heidi Wilke SANE/SART Survivor Program.
Since the Heidi Wilke SANE/SART Survivor Program started in 2003, we have provided specialized services to more than 1,300 victims of sexual assault, many under 25 years of age.
The emergency department at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital also has trained Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners on call 24/7.
