NMC Offers Healthcare Career Camps for High School Students

Do you have high school students interested in pursuing an education/career in the healthcare industry?

Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development will again offer the Healthcare Career Camps for 2018. This camp has been a successful unique opportunity for high school students for the past four years. This year, we will offer two camps in June and July (dates listed below).

Students come to our campus for four days to learn about healthcare professions such as: Nursing, Physical Therapy, Sonography, Phlebotomy, Respiratory Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Radiology and MORE. Students enjoy the opportunity to tour Methodist facilities, participate in interactive activities and learn a lot of really interesting things about the healthcare field.

High school students in 9th through 12th grades interested in the healthcare field will experience:

  • College-level courses and talk to instructors about healthcare programs and professions
  • Learn about healthcare careers they may have never known existed
