Cynthe Ford - Methodist Women's Hospital Employee of the Quarter

Cynthe Ford, a Nurse Coordinator in MWH Surgery, is the Methodist Women’s Hospital Employee of the Quarter for 1st Quarter 2018. She was honored at a recognition ceremony on November 29.
Cynthe was nominated for the honor by multiple employees who described her as a role model for the department and the hospital.
Nominators provided glowing descriptions of Cynthe's positive attitude, kindness, compassion, nursing skills and work ethic, explaining, "She cares about all people, and it shows in how she conducts herself each day."
Described as someone with a smile for everyone who crosses her path, Cynthe is considered "a great communicator and a perfect example of advocacy for our patients. She is always focused on patient care and safety, and she strives to be sure our patients and employees are taken care of in all aspects."
Considered "a great resource for techs and nurses alike," Cynthe is always willing to help, answer questions and put others before herself.
"She is truly one of a kind and one of the best people and nurses I have every worked with," wrote one nominator. "Women's would not be the same without Cynthe."
The Methodist Women's Hospital Employee of the Quarter award program began in the first quarter of 2013. Award nominations may be submitted by physicians, supervisors, coworkers and staff. Judging is based on how candidates embody the mission and core values of Methodist Women’s Hospital: patient focus, integrity, excellence, learning, compassion, teamwork and respect.
All employees and staff at MWH are eligible to receive the Employee of the Quarter award. Employee of the Quarter award winners are automatically considered for the Caring Kind Employee of the Year award, as are Methodist Hospital's Employees of the Month.
To nominate a fellow employee for the Employee of the Quarter award, submit a completed application form to Administration. Each nomination is kept on file for review for two quarters.
