Cindy Leaver & Susan Jasman Named Methodist's 2017 Caring Kind Employees of the Year

Cindy Leaver, a Lead Room Service Ambassador in the Food & Nutrition Services department, is Methodist Hospital's 2017 Caring Kind Employee of the Year. Susan Jasman, a former Gift Shop/Breastfeeding Boutique Specialist and current Breastfeeding Boutique Coordinator, is Methodist Women's Hospital's 2017 Caring Kind Employee of the Year.

Methodist Hospital's Caring Kind Employee: Cindy Leaver

Cindy Leaver was recognized for her selection as a 2017 Caring Kind employee at a celebration at Methodist Hospital on September 18.

Cindy’s co-workers describe her as “amazing, compassionate, patient, and kind.” She is known to go above and beyond with anything she does. She is a pleasure to work with daily.

Cindy, a Methodist Hospital employee for more than eight years, was named the Methodist Hospital Employee of the Month in March 2017.

Methodist Women's Hospital's Caring Kind Employee: Susan Jasman

Susan Jasman was recognized for her selection as a 2017 Caring Kind employee at a celebration at Methodist Women's Hospital on September 19.

Susan is described as someone who is "always going above and beyond for our patients, co-workers and volunteers." Every day she greets patients with a smile and demonstrates her kindness, compassion and thoughfulness.

Susan, a Methodist Women's Hospital employee for more than four years, was named the Methodist Women's Hospital Employee of the Quarter for 3rd Quarter 2017.

Nebraska's Caring Kind Award Program

Hospitals across the state select a Caring Kind Award winner from within their respective institutions to be honored at the Nebraska Hospital Association's annual conference. The 2017 Caring Kind luncheon, held on October 27, honors those award winners as Nebraska hospitals' most caring individuals.

Methodist Hospital's Caring Kind Employee of the Year is chosen by the committee members who select Methodist Hospital's Employees of the Month. The Caring Kind employee is selected from a pool of the past year's Employee of the Month winners. 

Methodist Women's Hospital's Caring Kind Employee of the Year is chosen by the committee members who select Methodist Women's Hospital's Employees of the Quarter. The Caring Kind employee is selected from a pool of the past year's Employee of the Quarter winners.
