Congratulations go to the 2017 graduates of the Methodist Hospital Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Program.

Eight post-baccalaureate students earned their MLS Program Certificate from Methodist Hospital on May 5.

All of the MLS Program graduates passed their national Board of Certification exam through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).  Seven of the graduates will be working in a hospital clinical lab in the Omaha metropolitan area, and the eighth graduate will be working in California.

The Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Program at Methodist Hospital is an intensive 11-month educational program providing experience in all major departments of a hospital clinical lab. From six to ten students are accepted into the program each year. Academic affiliates include College of Saint Mary, North Dakota State University and University of Nebraska Omaha.

Methodist's MLS Program, established in 1968 as the Methodist Hospital School of Medical Technology, is fully accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).
