Robb McBride, ADN, RN, from Methodist Hospital's Medical/Surgical Unit, was honored at a recognition ceremony on May 15 as the May DAISY Award winner for Methodist Hospital and Methodist Women's Hospital.

Robb was nominated for the honor by a patient and spouse who called him "one of the best RNs we've ever met."

The couple praised Robb for his caring, responsiveness, verbal skills, intelligence and willingess to go the extra distance.

"He's just a really nice guy. He explains what he is doing and makes sure we understand," they wrote.  "Every time he enters our room, we feel safe. God bless Robb for his work here at Methodist!"
