Join in National Walk@Lunch Day: April 26
As part of Methodist's partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE), MHS employees are encouraged to join in the 11th Annual National Walk@Lunch Day on Wednesday, April 26.
We spend an average of 13 hours a day sitting. Standing up once an hour can improve your health — and walking for just 30 minutes a day can reduce the risk of chronic illnesses like heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure, improve your mood and help you lose weight.
Visit Walking Works, a Blue Cross Blue Shield program that allows you to track your physical activity, set fitness goals and see your ongoing progress.
