Celebrating Methodist’s 125 Years Within & Beyond Our Walls

National Health Care Week is especially meaningful for us this year as Methodist celebrates 125 years of compassionate care and medical excellence.

We have come a long way from the 28-bed Methodist Episcopal Hospital and Deaconess Home that opened at 20th and Harney Streets on May 28, 1891.

Methodist has grown into a world-class integrated health system. Our outstanding physicians and 6,000+ employees are making a lasting difference by the way they live The Meaning of Care. Methodist’s future is bright, and we are well-positioned for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

I thank you for your countless contributions to our success, and I invite you to enjoy the following special 125th Anniversary celebrations within and beyond our walls.

National Health Care Week Receptions within MHS: May 2-24
