Making A Difference in The Health of Council Bluffs

Tami Bardon has been helping people for more than 30 years.

Bardon, a registered nurse and emergency department case manager at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital, has spent the last six years in a role that allows her to work closely with homeless and near-homeless patients, assisting them in their struggle to bring stability to their lives.

Many have substance abuse issues and legal issues.

As emergency department coordinator, Bardon works closely with Heartland Family Services, legal aid agencies and other organizations, including Connections Area Agency on Aging.

Bardon joins Michelle Kaufman and Karen Collins of Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in sharing how they are making a difference in the health of the Council Bluffs community.
