Staying In? Stay Active
This time of year, many of us have a tough time staying active due to the cold weather.
It's too cold to go outside and easier to stay in, wrapped up in your blanket and eating comfort foods to keep you warm.
But as cozy as that sounds, it's very important to stay active during this time of year, as it is every season.
There are many activities you can do indoors to keep you warm, avoid losing strength and endurance, as well as help you avoid gaining weight over the cold season, says Methodist Health System's Brenda Herrod.
